New for 2025.
The only son of Night Of Thunder standing at stud, a super 2yo & Classic 3yo miler.
On the eve of the next round of yearling sales in the UK, it was great to see another Newsells Park Stud bred Group winner, with Beautiful Morning landing the Gr.3 Royal Whip Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday 26 August.
Trainer Jessie Harrington said: “She’s had a frustrating summer, as she wants juice in the ground and so was wanting to get on with it today. She’ll come back for the Blandford now.”
The five-year-old mare was second in the Gr.2 Blandford Stakes last year, as well as subsequently winning the Listed John Musker Fillies’ Stakes later that season.
Beautiful Morning is owned by Jon Kelly and James Wiltz. Bred and sold by Newsells, she is the first foal of the juvenile winner and Stakes performer, Date With Destiny, the sole progeny by the ill-fated George Washington and one of three Stakes performers out of Flawlessly alongside Gr.3 winner Ombre Legere and Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup runner-up Flawly.
In the last seven years Newsells Park Stud has bred or raised 8 Gr.1 winners, 8 Gr.2 winners, 14 Gr.3 winners and 55 individual Group/Stakes winners.
