The Magnificent Seven becomes 8!

8 Gr.1 winners have been bred or raised by Newsells Park Stud in the last 7 years, 8 Gr.2 winners, 13 Gr.3 winners and 55 individual Group/Stakes winners.

Gr.1 winners include Lightning Spear storming into our original Magnificent Seven! with a well deserved recent victory in the Gr.1 Sussex Stakes.  Without Parole landing the Gr.1 St James’s Palace Stakes and Waldgeist winning the Gr.1 Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud added to a great year so far for the stud.

A Kodiac half-brother to Let’s Go out of the Gr.1 placed Lady Darshaan (Lot 19), a Gleneagles half-brother to Al Malhouf out of the Stakes Winner Lady Eclair (Lot 20), and a Muhaarar colt out of the  Stakes placed Lady Francesca (Lot 21).

Indeed, eight out of the nine yearlings on offer are out of Stakes winning/placed mares, including a Dark Angel filly being out of the Gr.1 Phoenix Stakes placed Lottie Dod (Lot 44), plus yearlings out of Meeting Waters, Moment of Time, Wittgenstein and Interception.

All are by notable sires: Dark Angel, Dutch Art, Gleneagles, Kodiac, Muhaarar, Oasis Dream, Showcasing and Zoffany

Stallions at Newsells Park Stud are also represented at the GoffsUK Premier Yearling Sale.  The consistent Gr.1 sprint sire Equiano has five yearlings, including a full-brother to Champion 2yo filly and Group winner Fly On The Night and half-brother to 6f Stakes winner Danehill Destiny.   Also Nathaniel, sire of 21 Group/Stakes performers from his first two crops including 5-time Gr.1 winner Enable, has one yearling, a colt out of a half-sister to Group winner Fire Ship (Lot 141).
