13/11/2017

The ultra consistent Chasedown won the Listed Premio Roma Vecchia at Rome on Sunday 12th November, to become the latest Stakes winner for his sire Nathaniel.

A three-year-old from Nathaniel’s first brilliant crop, Chasedown has previously finished second in the Listed Premio Villa Borghese, also at Rome, and third in the Listed Gran Premio D’Italia and Listed Premio Merano in Milan, trained by Alduino Botti for owner/breeders Scuderia Effevi.

Nathaniel is the sire of 11 Group/Stakes winners/performers in 2017 from his first Classic three-year-old crop, headed up by the five-time Gr.1 and dual Classic winner Enable.

In addition, 17% of his three-year-old runners are rated RPR 100+ (10 colts and 5 fillies).  Nathaniel offers exceptional value to breeders at a 2018 stud fee of £20,000 1st Oct SLF terms, and is proving extremely popular.
