Our Tattersalls October Yearling Sale Book 1 digital catalogue out now

We are delighted to launch our 2024 digital catalogue of yearlings to be consigned at the Tattersalls October Book 1 Sale – click here to view

The digital catalogue shows photographs, videos, cross matches and interactive pedigrees with notable race links for each yearling in our consignment. There are 26 yearlings including siblings to 13 Group/Stakes winners (five Gr.1 horses) out of 18 Group/Stakes mares (eight Gr.1 mares).

In this year’s consignment there are 16 fillies headed up by a Siyouni half-sister to two-year-old Gr.1 Fillies’ Mile winner Ylang Ylang (Lot 407), and an own/half-sister by Sea The Stars to Stakes winners Star Terms, Rainbow Sky and Fresh Terms (Lot 93).

There are four fillies by Frankel, two are out of half-sisters to Gr.1 winners and sires Without Parole and Tamarkuz (Lot 410) and Gr.2 winner Ebaiyra (Lot 154), as well as fillies out of the Gr.2 Duke of Cambridgeshire winner Aljazzi (Lot 68) and Gr.3 winner One Voice (Lot 323).

Dubawi is represented by two more fillies out of half-sisters to Gr.1 winners. One is out of a half-sister to 5-time Gr.1 winner Modern Games and Classic winner Mawj (Lot 172), and the other, a half-sister to US Stakes winner Equitize, is out of a half-sister to 4-time Gr.1 and Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe winner Waldgeist (Lot 39).

In addition, own-sisters to Gr.1 winners Kingsbairns and Midday have Wootton Bassett yearlings in the consignment, out of Elizabethofaragon (Lot 157) and Posset (Lot 346) respectively.

Other Stakes winning/performing siblings with own/half brothers/sisters in the consignment include Beautiful Morning (Lot 133 – colt), South Seas (Lot 258 – colt), Ottery (Lot 265), I Can Fly (Lot 275 – colt), Heredia (Lot 317 – colt), Naseej (Lot 318 – filly) and Integrant (Lot 32 – colt).

Eight of the yearlings are out of Gr.1 mares including a Kingman filly out of Gr.1 Prix de l’Opera winner Villa Marina (Lot 34), and a Siyouni colt out of Gr.1 Poule d’Essai des Pouliches heroine Teppal (Lot 4). Plus two No Nay Never colts out of Gr.1 performing mares Spectre (Lot 432) and Star Terms (Lot 435).

First-crop sire St Mark’s Basilica is represented by a filly out of two-year-old Gr.3 winner Mot Juste (Lot 303), and Stakes winner Moon A Lisa has a first foal filly by another exciting young sire in Wootton Bassett (Lot 302). More established proven sires Lope de Vega and Kingman have fillies out of own/half sisters to Group winners Kenya (Lot 328) and Ispolini (Lot 341) respectively.

Finally, the Newsells consignment wouldn’t be the same without a yearling from the Shayste dynasty, and this year there is a Kingman filly out of a half-sister to Gr.1 winners JapanMogul and Secret Gesture (Lot 399).
