The fastest son of Frankel. Winner of the prestigious Gr.1 St James’s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Don’t miss the first yearlings by our stallion A’Ali at the Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale and Tattersalls Somerville Sale over the next few weeks.
A’Ali was a brilliant juvenile speedster, who blitzed the field to win the Gr.2 Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot on only his second start, and went on to win three Gr.2 races over the minimum trip as a two-year-old, including the Prix Robert Papin and the Flying Childers Stakes.
As a three-year-old, A’Ali trained on to win the Gr.3 Coral Charge and the Gr.2 Sapphire Stakes before being placed in the Gr.1 Nunthorpe Stakes behind Battaash.
His first foals were well received at the foal sales last year realising 68,000gns, 67,000gns, 55,000gns, etc.
Julian Dollar, general manager at Newsells Park Stud said: “A’Ali’s yearlings are very much peas out of the same pod. He’s exactly what it says on the tin: a very speedy, precocious horse. He’s everything you’d expect.
Going back to character, he’s a cheeky little boy with a smile on his face who comes out every morning and says, ‘What are we going to do today?’ He’s got that can-do attitude. His progeny look like him, they look tidy, precocious types that are really going to appeal at sales like Doncaster and Somerville.”
Other breeders/consignors of yearlings by A’Ali being offered at the Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale are equally complimentary…
“We love this filly. She’s well balanced, athletic, moves well and has a great mind. We’re delighted with how she’s taken her sales preparation. She’s very straightforward.” Natalie Folland, re Lot 261 Filly ex Blue Geranium (Dansili) consigned by Folland-Bowen Bloodstock
“She is a very straight forward filly, not dissimilar to her Stakes winning half -brother Clarendon House. Strong, precocious with plenty of substance & quality.” Richard Tucker, re Lot 173 Filly ex Walaaa (Exceed And Excel) consigned by S Fanning Sales
“We’ve prepared three A’Ali yearlings for the Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale and the Tattersalls Somerville Sale. All are precocious, athletic individuals with great minds. We sent three mares this season, based on the quality of this filly and will definitely be supporting him in the future.” Christian Williams, Childwickbury Stud, re Lot 219 Filly ex Angel Of The South (Dark Angel)
“A cracking colt, a real stamp of a horse, great presence with a terrific outlook, much to look forward to with this colt.” Lawrence Gleeson, Aughamore Stud, re Lot 454 Colt ex Maureen (Holy Roman Emperor)
