2018 has got off to a cracking start for Equiano with another Group winning two-year-old.

The exciting and tough filly Lady Horseowner landed the Gr.3 Blue Diamond Stakes Preview over 5f at Caulfield today for trainer Greg Eurell.  Owner/breeders Paul and Carol King were understandably delighted and are keen to supplement her for the Gr.1 Blue Diamond Stakes.

Lady Horseowner is unbeaten having won on her only previous run at Moonee Valley on 8th December with her trainer commenting that she has thrived during a short break.

Trainer Greg Eurell said: ““She’s not very big so we thought we’d have to try and capitalise on her size and try to get her into the right races.  Everything she has done, she has done very professionally all the way through.”

The filly is the seventh Group winning two-year-old for Equiano, and his thirteenth Stakes winner overall.  The ‘King of Speed’ is also the leading GB sire of sprinters in 2017 and the best value!
