Newsells Park Stud is excited to be back at the Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale next week with a consignment of four exceptionally nice yearlings that are spot on for this sale.

Headed up by a filly out of multiple Stakes winning mare Pelerin by leading European sire Showcasing (Lot 4). Pelerin is the dam of four winners of four foals of racing age and all her daughters are also winners of the valuable Great British Bonus (GBB), winning a total of £50,000 between them. In fact Pelekai was the first ever GBB winner and Miss Bielsa the 1000th GBB winner, her other daughter to win was Golden Mayflower. Her only son, Premier Power, is also a winner and rated an impressive 102.

Other fillies eligible for the GBB bonus includes a Mehmas half-sister to Arctician who as a two-year-old finished third in the Gr.2 6f Railway Stakes and second in the Gr.3 6f Marble Hill Stakes (Lot 233). The filly is out of Atlantic Drift, a half-sister to Gr.1 winner and sire Lightning Spear and other Stakes horses Ocean War, First Destinity and Seaway.

The third filly in the consignment is from the first crop of Newsells Park Stud’s A’Ali, a triple Gr.2 winning two-year-old and Royal Ascot winning two-year-old (Lot 456). He was an exceptionally fast and precocious sprinter who trained on as a three-year-old to win a Gr.2 and Gr.3 over five furlongs. This filly is the first foal out of the multiple Stakes performer Mazzuri (Raven’s Pass) from the family of Champion sprinter Muhaarar.

The final yearling in the consignment is an Ardad colt out of the Night Of Thunder US Stakes performing mare Bredenbury, a half-sister to Stakes winner Go Angellica and the dam of multiple Group winner/performer Twilight Jet (Lot 271). The family also includes dual Gr.1 winner Germany.
