Newsells Park Stud is encouraging breeders to check their post this week as they might be in for a treat.  The stud’s latest mailing includes a crown to promote their ‘King of Speed’ stallion Equiano, as well as their trademark chocolate bar, two of which contain a ‘Golden Ticket’ for a free nomination to the sire!

1,000 breeders in Europe have received the mailer and could be in ‘King Equiano’s Honour’s List’ with another 40 chocolate bars containing Golden Tickets offering up to 50% off Equiano’s nomination fee of £8,000. 

The dual Gr.1 King’s Stand Stakes winner has sired 13 Group/Stakes winners from his first three crops, including seven two-year-olds as well as the notable dual Gr.1 winning sprinter, The Tin Man.   As the leading British sire of sprinters (5f to 7f) he still remains the UK’s ‘King of Speed’, with 64 winners, four black-type winners and over £1.7m in prize money in 2017 alone.
