03/05/2018

Nathaniel’s first-crop continue to excel on the racecourse with Palombe flying home to win the Listed Prix Gold River – Fonds European de l’Elevage at Longchamp today.

Another new Stakes winner for her sire, the four-year-old filly won by two and half lengths for trainer Andre Fabre and owner Baron Edouard de Rothschild. Also a winner as a two-year-old she looks an exciting horse to follow the rest of the season.

Bred by Societe Civile De L’Ecurie De Meautry, Palombe is out of Grey Lily (Boreal), a half-sister to Golden Lilac, winner of the Gr.1 Poule D’Essai Des Pouliches, Gr.1 Prix De Diane – Longines and Gr.1 Prix D’Ispahan.
