Equiano's son, the dual Gr.1 winning sprinter The Tin Man, made a successful seasonal debut yesterday when comfortably landing the Listed Weatherbys Hamilton Leisure Stakes at Windsor last night.

Hot on the heels of Sladina's emphatic victory on Saturday in the Listed Premio Mario Incisa, a trial for the Italian Oaks, Chasedown won the Gr.3 Premio Carlo D'Alessio in Rome on Sunday 20th May to give their sire a Stakes winning double this weekend.

Nathaniel sired two new Stakes horses on Saturday 19th May with Sladina scoring in the Listed Premio Mario Incisa in Milan and Crystal Hope finished third in the Listed Haras de Bouquetot Fillies’ Trial Stakes at Newbury.

Nathaniel sired another new Stakes winner and Classic prospect today, with Perfect Clarity landing the Betfred Mobile Oaks Trial Fillies’ Stakes at Lingfield today for owners Dr Bridget Drew and David J Keast.

A glorious bank holiday weekend was capped by another Group win for Newsells homebreds with Waldgeist landing the Gr.3 Prix d'Hedouville by a length and a half at Longchamp on Sunday 6th May.

Equiano’s daughter Belvoir Bay won her second consecutive Stakes race and sixth Stakes race in total, when landing the 61/2f Grade 3 San Simeon Stakes at Santa Anita on Sunday 29th April.

Equiano’s daughter Belvoir Bay won her fifth Stakes race when landing the Mizdirection Stakes on the 6.5f hillside turf course at Santa Anita on Sunday 25th March. The success was all the more remarkable as it was Belvoir Bay’s first race back since surviving the fires at the San Luis Rey Downs training facility in San Diego in December 2017.
