New for 2025.
The only son of Night Of Thunder standing at stud, a super 2yo & Classic 3yo miler.
This week’s Tattersalls December Sale concluded an extremely successful sales season for Newsells Park Stud this year.
Two standout moments defined the year:
Both exceptional fillies were purchased by Amo Racing, represented by bloodstock agent Alex Elliott, and Newsells Park Stud wish the new connections all the best with their future racing and breeding careers.
Amo Racing’s, Kia Joorabchian, said of You Got To Me purchase: “We were getting to a point that we were thinking she was overpriced but she could be very cheap in the long run. At least we know she is proven, she won the Irish Oaks amazingly, and I am so happy because the guys that owned her Valmont are dear friends of mine, we have partnerships together in other horses.”
You Got To Me was bought for 200,000 guineas by Alex Elliott at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale for Valmont, and Newsells Park Stud bought a share in the ownership for their Racing and Breeding Bloodstock 24 investment fund later in her career. She subsequently went on to win the Classic Gr.1 Irish Oaks and has provided lots of fun and a great return for the members of the fund.
On the yearling filly, Alex Elliott, said: “This filly has got through most of the hoops – she is by the right stallion, she is out of a good Shamardal mare, she is from a great farm, she has come to a sale, she has shown she is in the top echelon of horses, now she has got to keep going! It is great that she is staying here, it is great for British racing that these people are around to buy these horses.”
For the seventh consecutive year Newsells Park Stud was the leading consignor at Tattersalls October Yearling Sale Book 1 with a record turnover of 17,185,000gns and average price of 660,962gns for 26 lots sold.
This extraordinary season highlights Newsells Park Stud’s commitment to producing and presenting world-class bloodstock, and building on its reputation as a cornerstone of excellence in the thoroughbred industry.
