Sea To Sky provided first-crop sire Without Parole with his second Stakes performer when finishing third in the Listed Highclere Thoroughbred Racing Stakes (Registered as the Radley Stakes) at Newbury today.

Last time out this two-year-old filly had comfortably won a Novice Stakes at Newmarket in September for trainer Ralph Beckett and owner/breeder John Gunther. This time on heavy ground she also ran well making up ground from the back, and looks an exciting filly to follow next year.

Sea To Sky, is out of the Sea The Stars mare Beyond The Sea, a Gr.3 performing half-sister to Gr.1 American Oaks winner Competitionofideas out of Gr.3 US winner Devil By Design.

She is the second Stakes performer for her sire Without Parole, also owned and bred by John and Tanya Gunther, with Fiery Lucy having finished second in the Gr.3 Weld Park Stakes and Gr.3 Newtownanner Irish EBF Stakes.

This exciting young sire and son of Frankel has produced nine winners to date.
